How to find us by road coming from the Colchester direction
Most people find the easiest route is to avoid trying to get through Thorpe-Le-Soken, High Street. Travel along the A120, then onto the A133, once on the A133 you will reach a roundabout, take the first exit onto the B1033 which heads to Thorpe-Le-Soken, Clacton-On-Sea and Frinton-on-Sea.
At the next roundabout take the first exit following the B1033 to Thorpe-Le-Soken.
At the second roundabout take third exit onto the B1441 signposted Weeley Bridge, travel along this road for two miles through Weeley, then take the B1414 at Plough Corner onto Harwich Road and follow this road for two miles through to Thorpe-Le-Soken.
Keep on this road and go under a railway bridge, continue along Station Road until you reach a 30mph speed limit you will immediately see a turning on your left directly after the 30mph sign which is Grange Farm Campsite.
Continue along the lane until you reach the gates where we will ask you to pull over just outside the Campsite Reception.
How to find us by road coming from Holland and the Port of Harwich
When travelling to and from the Ferry terminal by car, it will generally take about 25 minutes and is approximately 12 miles.
The most direct route is to go via the A120
On leaving the port terminal turn right onto East Dock Road and follow the road until the roundabout.
Turn left at the roundabout onto Station Road.
Stay on Station Road until you get to Parkeston Roundabout and follow the A120.
Continue on the A120 for approximately 6 miles until you reach the roundabout.
Take the second exit to stay on the A120, following signs for Colchester.
Drive on the A120 for about 6 miles and then take the exit on the left toward Wix (B1352).
Follow the road heading through Wix village until you can see the pub on the corner of the crossroads
At the crossroads turn left, and follow the route on the B1352 for another 2 miles until you reach Beaumont.
At the crossroads turn right onto the B1414 and follow the road through Beaumont Cum Moze and down to Thorpe le Soken on Landermere Road.
At the Junction turn left onto the B1033 towards Frinton-on-sea and then turn right at the war memorial onto Station Road
Pass Thorpe Sports and Social Club on your left and head down station road until you pass the last houses and then turn right into the entrance for Grange Farm Campsite.
